Welcome

Inviting, Engaging, and Strengthening All in Our Journey With Christ.

Wakefield United Methodist Church is a young, vibrant and growing church in the northern Raleigh/Wake County area. Founded in 2007 as a daughter congregation to Edenton Street United Methodist in downtown Raleigh, Wakefield UMC strives to be a faithful, Christ-centered community focused on the mission to grow a church where people at any stage of their faith journey can experience a relevant, transformational and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our priority ministry areas include relevant and formational worship, faithful youth programs, enriching family and children ministries, life-giving hospitality and outreach, and intentional spiritual formation.
