About the Mission.
We believe in supporting families around the world and helping them access the medical care and resources they need. While we don’t administer medical care, we keep millions of children and families close to the critical care they need – and to each other. Our programs are designed with the community in mind. They provide essential care like places of respite for parents, space for children to be children, and communities of support for all family members dealing with a child’s medical crisis.
Our Involvement.
Wakefield UMC volunteers go to Ronald McDonald House to make meals for the families four times a year. WUMC collects monetary donations prior to the service days to provide supplies for the meals and help supply the snack rooms at the house and hospital.
