Tim Kiernan

Although new to the North Carolina area, Timothy Kiernan has been involved in education for over 30 years teaching music to students ages K-12.  Early in his career, he both toured the country as a pop performer in the 80’s and as a music director in New York’s Broadway.  He then focused on education and most recently taught band, choir and drama at Trafalgar Middle in Cape Coral, Fl where he was voted county chamber “Teacher Of The Year” in 2019 and 2022. 

Currently, both he and his wife Lauren arrived as faculty members of Thales Academy, Wake Forest and are joined by son Lanister and daughter Quincy-Sue.  Mr. Kiernan has also established the CAROLINA THEATER COMPANY…a youth theater troupe that provides vocal, dance and drama training.  He looks forward to helping foster biblical success these coming years.
