Erin Pearce

I grew up in the Sandhills of NC in the small town of Aberdeen. I graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC in 2009 and received a Master of Divinity from Duke University’s Divinity School in 2012. I currently live in Knightdale with my husband Jonathan, our sons Waylon and Glenn.

Before coming to Wakefield, I worked in full-time ministry for several years where I served as the Assistant Pastor at Englewood UMC in Rocky Mount, Director of Family Ministries at Pleasant Grove UMC in Raleigh, and as the Director of La Estrella Resplandeciente (a non-profit ministry for Hispanic children and families).

In my role as Pastor of Family Ministry, I seek to create opportunities for people of all ages to grow in their discipleship journeys through programming, worship, and missions. I love helping others connect with God and grow deeper in their walk with Christ.

In my spare time you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband Jonathan and our two sons, Waylon & Glenn. I try to spend as much time as I can with family and friends and I love exploring all that the Triangle has to offer. I especially enjoy trying out new restaurants and cheering on the Duke Blue Devils (Let’s Go Duke!).
