Don Bowman

Don brings joy to so many through music and its unique ability to connect and unit the congregation with Christ through in our worship services. He has always had a passion for music, and his past experience being in a Heavy Metal band, a classic rock band, and a Irish American Pub band give his the ability to present a fun and lively program that reaches all members.

Outside of his passion and enthusiasm for music, Don lives with his wife, Christina, and two children, Tyler and Teagan. He received his engineering degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from American University. In addition to the tireless hours he spends on the music programs for worship, he is the Vice-President of Engineering & Operations at Wake Electric, where he is responsible for system reliability and implementing the technologies of the “Smart Grid.”

As if work, family and music isn’t enough, he does have other hobbies, such as golf, running marathons, and participating in activities with the Boy Scouts.
