Playground Fundraiser

Our hope is to install a church playground in late winter or early spring 2025 to serve our current and future kids. The playground will also be used by a future preschool once it is established.
In order to build a playground, we need to rasie $70,000 to cover the cost of the artificial turf ($35k), play set ($30k), and miscellaneous expenses ($5k). Exact colors and configurations are to be determined. Our hope is to raise the money by November 17th which is the date of the Ignite kids’ Multiply Market. Our kids will be selling homemade items and proceeds will go to the playground.
Wakefield UMC has long been a family-centered church and we hope our playground will benefit many children in our community. If you feel led to give, you can do so in the following ways:
