Erin Pearce

Erin grew up in the Sandhills of NC in the small town of Aberdeen. She graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC in 2009 and received a Master of Divinity from Duke University’s Divinity School in 2012. She currently lives in Knightdale with her husband Jonathan and their two young sons, Waylon and Glenn.

Before coming to Wakefield, Erin worked in full-time ministry for several years serving as the Assistant Pastor at Englewood UMC in Rocky Mount, Director of Family Ministries at Pleasant Grove UMC in Raleigh, and as the Director of La Estrella Resplandeciente (a non-profit ministry for Hispanic children and families).

In her role as Pastor of Family Ministry, Erin seeks to create opportunities for people of all ages to grow in their discipleship journeys through programming, worship, and missions. Erin loves helping others connect with God and grow deeper in their walk with Christ.

In her spare time, you’ll usually find Erin spending time with her family and going on adventures with her kids. She loves the Triangle area and especially loves the variety of kid-friendly options there are around town.

Erin loves being a part of Wakefield UMC and feels so blessed to serve and be a part of such a warm and loving congregation.
